| Kimberly Garcia is the President of AFE Chapter 85 in Western Massachusetts where she has been a member and active on the Board for 5 years serving in various positions including President, Vice-President and Secretary. Ms. Garcia is a graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering. She will be graduating in 2019 with Master of Science degree in Operations and Project Management from Southern New Hampshire University. Kimberly also served for six years in the Massachusetts Air National Guard with the 104th Fighter Group based out of Westfield, MA where she served as an Avionics Technician.
Kimberly has worked in the power generation industry for over 18 years, starting her career at Turbosteam LLC , a company that manufacturers steam turbine generator sets. After 13 years in various roles including Applications Engineer, Sales Manager, Director of Operations and General Manager, she moved to Blake Equipment headquartered in East Windsor, CT. Kimberly started as an Industrial Sales Engineer, selling and supporting solutions to the industrial and commercial markets including high pressure steam boilers ,steam turbine generator sets and boiler room support equipment. She then served as Division Manager for two years in the Albany, NY office.
Kimberly now works for Cleaver Brooks as the Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) Sales Manager where she is responsible for the business development and overall growth of the waste heat boiler and HRSG product lines for the Engineered Boiler Systems group based out of Cleaver Brooks manufacturing plant in Lincoln, NE. She works closely with gas turbine manufacturers, large engineering firms and consultants, industrial and institutional end users as well as a worldwide manufacturer’s representative network to increase capital sales for the company.
She has two beautiful daughters, Katherine (18) and Isabel (13) and works remotely from her home office in Western Massachusetts.
